Jamie Fisher is a graduate of Fairmont High School in 2006. She has attended The University of Cincinnati and is currently a student at Wright State University studying Social Work. She has been babysitting since she was 11 years old and enrolled in the Red Cross Babysitter's course. While in middle school and high school Jamie worked with kids of all ages. Once Jamie received her license, one particular child became part of the family. The child would go to school events and practices with her as well as family functions. Jamie would transport the child to and from practices and still to this day (she is now 13) randomly shows up to her sporting events.
In 2006 when Jamie left for college her babysitting time became limited due to being in a new city. She joined a babysitters site in Cincinnati and became a regular sitter for a family on the west side of Cincinnati with a 5 year old and a 1 year old. Jamie then began working at The Children's House in West Chester being a Preschool and Pre-K aide and then moving to a Summer Camp aide which worked with school age children up to 12 years old.
After deciding to go back to school she moved back to Dayton and began working for a family in Oakwood. She did after school care for a 2nd grader and would help out with the 2 year old when needed. Just recently she worked with infant twins two times weekly. Currently Jamie works for Greene County Children's Services and is the Assistant Jr. High Field Hockey Coach at Oakwood.
Though Jamie plans on graduating with her Bachelors in Social Work spring 2012, she hopes to one day open her own Daycare in the Dayton Area.
Jamie currently resides in Kettering, OH.
